Terms of Sale and License
Effective
These terms apply when you buy or use Volumora, the macOS app sold at volumora.app by Ilyas Abdulkadir, an individual developer based in Portugal. By buying or using Volumora you agree to them. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
Your license
A purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Volumora version 1.x on up to three Macs that you own or control. All 1.x updates are included at no extra cost. A future major version may be sold separately; your 1.x license keeps working either way. You need an active license to use Volumora's features. There is no free trial.
What you may not do
You may not:
- Share, sell, rent or publish your license number, or use it on more than three Macs at a time.
- Circumvent or tamper with license activation or validation.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law allows it regardless of this restriction.
- Redistribute the app, except by linking to volumora.app.
Buying and payment
Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record. Polar charges your payment method, calculates and collects any applicable tax, issues your receipt and delivers your license number. Polar's buyer terms also apply to the payment. Prices are shown on volumora.app; launch offers are limited to the stated number of purchases and may end at any time without affecting licenses already bought.
Refunds
You can get a full refund for any reason within 14 days of purchase. See the Refund Policy for how. A refunded or charged-back license is deactivated on every Mac.
Activation
Activating, periodically validating and deactivating a license requires an internet connection. You can free an activation by deactivating Volumora on a Mac in its Settings. We may revoke licenses obtained by fraud, refunded, charged back or used in breach of these terms.
Your files
Volumora never deletes anything without your confirmation, and items it removes are moved to the macOS Trash so you can restore them. You remain responsible for reviewing what you remove and for keeping backups of data you care about. Some features need Full Disk Access, which you grant and can revoke in System Settings.
Warranty and liability
We work hard to make Volumora reliable, but it is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be error-free or fit for every purpose, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, intent or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer, such as the legal guarantee that the app conforms to its description.
Ending this license
Your license lasts indefinitely. It ends if you get a refund or charge back the payment, or if you seriously breach these terms. You can stop using Volumora at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future purchases and updates. The version in force when you bought your license continues to apply to that purchase unless you agree otherwise.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring a claim in its courts. Please email support@volumora.app first; most problems can be solved quickly.
